We visited Mere Resto to enjoy both of their menus and I must say that the portions were pleasantly large and the flavors were excellent!

During the FoodLover Restaurants Week from February 13–23, they offer two special menus:
Meat Menu – €37
Bruschetta – lightly smoked duck fillet / truffle cheese / sun-dried tomato pesto
Braised Beef Cheeks – herbs / mashed potatoes / edamame beans / mushroom sauce
Dubai Chocolate Cake, 100g – 50% less sugar. Made with chocolate mousse, natural whipped cream, pistachio-kataifi filling, chocolate sponge cake, and chocolate gourmet decoration
Fish Menu – €39:
Three Fish Carpaccio – lightly salted salmon / tuna / whitefish fillet / sun-dried tomato pesto / Comté cheese
Sturgeon Fillet – black rice / Pecorino cheese / grilled vegetables / white wine sauce / salmon roe
Dubai Chocolate Cake, 100g – 50% less sugar. Made with chocolate mousse, natural whipped cream, pistachio-kataifi filling, chocolate sponge cake, and chocolate gourmet decoration
Meat Menu 37 eur
✔ Bruschetta – The bread was delightfully crispy, and the duck meat had an excellent flavor. The truffle cheese added richness, and the tomato pesto balanced everything perfectly. A true taste experience!

✔ Braised Beef Cheeks – The meat was tender and melt-in-your-mouth, perfectly cooked and wonderfully seasoned. The vegetables were well-prepared – crunchy and flavorful.

Fish Menu 39 eur
✔ Three Fish Carpaccio – Very delicate and refined texture! The fish was tender and mildly salty, just the right balance. The pesto added depth to the dish, and the Comté cheese provided creaminess. Beautiful presentation, and a squeeze of lime added a pleasant tartness.

✔Sturgeon Fillet – I hadn’t tried sturgeon before, but it was truly delicious! The fish had a natural and fresh taste, and the black rice was nicely grainy. Grilled vegetables and white wine sauce complemented it perfectly.

Dessert for Both Menus
✔ Dubai Chocolate Cake, 100g – My new favorite dessert! The chocolate mousse and natural whipped cream were in perfect balance, and the pistachio-kataifi filling added a delightful crunch. A true 10/10 treat to end the dinner!

Special Beverages
In addition to the food, the restaurant also offers a very tasty selection of teas. We tried the pear tea with basil, which was pleasantly mild and sweet. A very interesting and refreshing combination! Ask for other flavored teas on-site!

There’s also a large selection of desserts with impressive appearances and even more special tastes.

Mere Resto pleasantly surprised me – large and high-quality portions, carefully chosen flavors, and a cozy atmosphere. Definitely one of my favorite restaurants in the center of Tallinn!
